Haryana : CM Saini inaugurates 27th Haryana State Sports Festival, over 6000 players to participate
Yuva Haryana : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Haryana’s youth energy, strong sports infrastructure, and player-friendly facilities are together creating a new chapter in history. He said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world now views India as an emerging sports power in which Haryana has a decisive role.
हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि हरियाणा की युवा ऊर्जा, हमारा खेल ढांचा और खिलाड़ियों के लिए सुविधाएं, सब मिलकर आज एक नया इतिहास रच रही हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के कुशल नेतृत्व में आज दुनिया भारत को एक उभरती खेल शक्ति के रूप में देख रही है, जिसमें हरियाणा की निर्णायक भूमिका है।
The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering as Chief Guest at the inauguration of the 27th Haryana State Sports Festival organized under the aegis of the Haryana Olympic Association at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurugram, on Sunday evening.
मुख्यमंत्री रविवार की शाम गुरुग्राम के ताऊ देवीलाल स्टेडियम में हरियाणा ओलंपिक एसोसिएशन के तत्वावधान में 27वें हरियाणा राज्य खेल उत्सव के शुभारंभ कार्यक्रम को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि संबोधित कर रहे थे।
Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the festival and addressed the sports talents of the state. He said that the 27th Haryana State Sports Festival, being held with the theme “Mitti se Medal tak”, is a pledge to identify, nurture, and polish talents from every village, city, and sports ground, and take them to the global stage.
नायब सैनी ने कहा कि मिट्टी से मेडल तक थीम के साथ आयोजित हो रहा 27वां हरियाणा राज्य खेल उत्सव एक संकल्प है कि हम हर गांव, हर शहर, हर खेल मैदान से प्रतिभाओं को खोजेंगे, उन्हें तराशेंगे और उन्हें विश्व मंच तक पहुंचाएंगे।
He said that the Haryana State Games are not just a competition, but a test of skill, courage, and determination. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the medal winners of the upcoming 2028, 2032, and 2036 Olympic Games will emerge from among these very athletes.
उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा स्टेट गेम्स केवल प्रतियोगिता नहीं है, यह खिलाड़ियों के कौशल, साहस और संकल्प की परीक्षा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मुझे विश्वास है कि आने वाले वर्ष 2028, 2032 और 2036 के ओलंपिक खेलों में पदक लेने वाले खिलाड़ी आप में से ही होंगे।
The Chief Minister informed that at present, 1,489 sports nurseries are operational in Haryana, training 37,225 players. Players aged 8–14 years enrolled in these nurseries receive Rs 1,500 per month, while those aged 15–19 years receive Rs 2,000 per month. Nursery coaches are also paid an honorarium of up to Rs 25,000.
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्तमान में हरियाणा में 1 हजार 489 खेल नर्सरियां कार्यरत हैं। जिनमें 37 हजार 225 खिलाड़ी प्रशिक्षण ले रहे हैं। नर्सरियों में नामांकित 8 से 14 वर्ष की आयु के खिलाड़ियों को 1500 रुपये तथा 15 से 19 वर्ष की आयु के खिलाड़ियों को दो हजार रुपये प्रति माह दिए जा रहे हैं। वहीं खेल नर्सरी प्रशिक्षकों को 25 हजार रुपये तक मानदेय भी दिया जा रहा है।
He said that to ensure secure employment for outstanding sportspersons, the government has formulated the “Haryana Outstanding Sportsperson Service Rules, 2021,” under which 550 new posts have been created in the Sports Department.
उन्होंने कहा कि उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ियों के लिए सुरक्षित रोजगार सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ‘हरियाणा उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ी सेवा नियम 2021’ बनाये हैं। इसके तहत खेल विभाग में 550 नए पद बनाये गए हैं।
The Chief Minister added that respecting sporting talent, the Haryana Government has awarded Rs 641 crore in cash prizes to players over the past 11 years. Under the Haryana Sports Equipment Provision Scheme, 15,634 players have been provided with sports equipment.
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि खेल प्रतिभाओं को सम्मान करते हुए पिछले 11 वर्षों में हरियाणा सरकार ने खिलाड़ियों को 641 करोड़ रुपए के नगद पुरस्कार दिए हैं। हरियाणा सरकार ने हरियाणा खेल उपकरण प्रावधान योजना बनाई है। इसके तहत 15 हजार 634 खिलाड़ियों को उपकरण प्रदान किए गए हैं।
Guest of Honour and President of the Indian Olympic Association, P.T. Usha, said that the soil of Haryana is charged with courage, strength, and determination — qualities that have consistently produced world-class athletes for India. She said that the cooperation between the State Government and the Haryana Olympic Association has led to a sports revolution in the state.
भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ की अध्यक्ष एवं सांसद पीटी ऊषा ने कहा कि हरियाणा की मिट्टी में हौसला, साहस और दृढ़ निश्चय की ऐसी ऊर्जा है जिसने हमेशा देश को विश्व स्तरीय खिलाड़ी दिए हैं। राज्य सरकार और हरियाणा ओलंपिक संघ के बीच आपसी सहयोग से खेलों का यह पुनर्जागरण संभव हुआ है।
Organized under the aegis of the Haryana Olympic Association, the festival will conclude on November 8 in Kurukshetra. The seven-day festival will feature 24 different sports events across nine districts of Haryana, as well as in Chandigarh and New Delhi, with participation from more than 6,000 athletes.
हरियाणा ओलंपिक एसोसिएशन के तत्वावधान में यह खेल उत्सव 8 नवंबर को कुरुक्षेत्र में सम्पन्न होगा। मिट्टी से मेडल तक थीम पर आधारित इस सात दिवसीय उत्सव में हरियाणा के नौ जिलों सहित चंडीगढ़ तथा नई दिल्ली में 24 विभिन्न खेल स्पर्धाएं आयोजित की जाएगी जिनमें राज्य भर के 6 हजार से अधिक खिलाड़ी अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करेंगे।
